Map configuration
Maps are used to draw delivery zones and to locate customers. Create a Google Maps API key and enable the Maps, Places, Geocoding, Directions and Distance Matrix APIs. Attach a billing account to the Google project. Then enter a client key and a server key in the admin panel's third-party settings. Restrict the client key to your domain and the server key to your server IP, or use one unrestricted key for both while testing.
Business setup
In the business settings, set your business name, logo, favicon, timezone, country, currency, time format and contact details.
Mail configuration
Enter your SMTP details (host, port, username, password, encryption and sender address). Mail is used for password recovery, order updates and lead notifications, so send a test email before moving on.
Push notifications (Firebase)
- Create a project in the Firebase console and open Project Settings, then the Service Accounts tab.
- Generate a new private key. A JSON file downloads.
- Paste the contents of that file into the service file field in the admin push-notification settings.
- Register a web app in the same Firebase project and put its configuration values into the web push configuration.
Payment gateways
Review the available gateways, activate the ones you will use and enter each gateway's keys. Cash on delivery is available by default. Test with sandbox keys first.
SMS gateway
Set up an SMS provider so one-time passwords can be sent for sign-up and password recovery.
Environment variables
If your release uses domain-related variables in .env, set them to your production values:
APP_URL=https://admin.yourdomain.com
APP_ENV=production
APP_DEBUG=false
