Launching a multi-vendor marketplace in Pakistan or the UAE uses the same building blocks as anywhere else: vendors, customers, orders and delivery. What changes is how people pay, how deliveries are organized, and which rules apply to you. This is a practical checklist, not legal advice; confirm the local requirements with a professional before you launch.
Decide what kind of marketplace it is
Pick one focus first: groceries, fashion, food delivery or another category. A narrow focus makes vendor recruitment and delivery simpler. You can add categories once orders are flowing.
Plan payments around how your customers pay
Many customers in both markets are used to paying on delivery, while others prefer cards or local wallets. Decide which methods you will offer, and check that your platform can connect to the local payment gateways you plan to use. Payment gateway setup is included in VendMart's installation plans if you want it configured for you.
Organize delivery by zone
Marketplaces work best when each area is served by nearby vendors and riders. Define delivery zones, decide who delivers (vendors, your own riders, or both) and set delivery fees per zone. A deliveryman app lets riders accept orders and track their own earnings.
Support the languages your customers use
Consider whether your storefront and apps need more than one language, and whether any need right-to-left layout. Local language translation is part of VendMart's Pro and Enterprise installation plans.
Onboard your first vendors
Start with a small group of vendors you can support closely. Give each a vendor panel or app, walk them through adding products, and agree how commission is charged. Your first vendors set the tone for everyone after them.
Check local requirements
Business registration, licensing, tax and consumer-protection rules differ by country and sometimes by emirate or province. Confirm what applies to a marketplace operator in your market before you take payments.
Launch small, then widen
Open in one city or zone, fix what real orders reveal, then expand. Because VendMart is self-hosted, you can start on modest hosting and move to a bigger server as traffic grows. See the mobile apps and pricing pages for what is included.
