Everything you need to install, configure and launch VendMart on your own infrastructure.
Requirements
- PHP 8.3 or newer
- Composer 2.x
- Node.js 18+ and npm
- MySQL 8 (or MariaDB)
Installation
Install dependencies and set up your environment file.
composer install
npm install
cp .env.example .env
php artisan key:generateDatabase setup
VendMart runs on MySQL. Set your credentials in .env, then migrate and seed demo content.

php artisan migrate --seedBuild & run
Compile frontend assets, then start the app.
npm run build
php artisan serveAdmin access
The seeder creates one admin account. Sign in at /login and change the password immediately from
/profile before deploying anywhere public.
