Most Laravel multi-vendor scripts look alike in screenshots. The differences show up after you buy: a missing mobile app, a license that limits you to one domain, or code you cannot change without breaking updates. This checklist helps you compare scripts on the things that actually matter.
1. Which panels and apps are included
A marketplace has at least three sides: the admin who runs it, the vendors who sell, and the customers who buy. If you plan to deliver goods, add riders. Check that the script includes an admin panel, a vendor panel and a customer storefront, and find out whether vendor and delivery apps are included or sold as separate add-ons. Price the whole set, not just the entry tier.
2. What the license allows
Read the license before the feature list. Ask how many domains it covers, whether you can build for clients or resell it, whether white-labelling is allowed, and how long updates and support last. A cheap license that limits you to one installation can cost more than a dearer one if you plan several client projects.
3. Whether you get the full source code
Encoded or partially locked code makes customization harder. If your roadmap includes custom payment gateways, wholesale pricing or new vendor rules, you want readable Laravel code your developers already understand.
4. How the demo behaves
Do not judge a script by its landing page. In the demo, place an order as a customer, accept it as a vendor, and approve a new vendor as an admin. Notice how many screens each step takes and whether the three sides stay in sync.
5. Installation and support
Ask who installs it and what happens when something breaks. Some sellers include installation, some charge for it, and some leave you with documentation only. Find out whether support is by ticket, email or chat, and how long it is included.
6. The real cost
Add the license, hosting, payment gateway fees, any add-ons you need and installation. Compare that total across scripts. A script with no monthly platform fee still needs a server, so budget for hosting that fits your traffic.
Questions to send the seller
- Which apps are included in the price I am looking at?
- How many domains can I use the license on?
- Can I resell or white-label it?
- How long are updates and support included?
- Is the source code fully readable and editable?
VendMart publishes its packages, prices and installation plans openly on the pricing page, and you can request a live demo to run through the checklist above before you buy.
